Access Ramp Under Construction for West Entrance to Nave

Having received a $12,000 grant from United Thank Offering, Trinity Church is laying plans for the construction of an access ramp for the West Entrance to its nave.

The Property Committee recommended to hire Larson & Danielson for the destruction of the planter and the construction of the ramp. The Vestry approved this recommendation at the Vestry meeting held on 10/29/07. Construction is due to begin soon.

In related news, the Barker Welfare Foundation has just notified us that it has approved a $15,000 grant to Trinity Church for the purchase of a stair lift for Barker Hall. Dawn Tyler has placed an order for the unit, which should be installed around the end of Nov/early December. It will take 2~3 weeks to custom build the unit to our measurements, and 1 day to install.
